Socket System
What are the sockets on weapons and armors?
There are 0 to 3 sockets on the weapons and armors you obtain while playing the game.
Insert a soul stone into the socket, and the options on the soul stone will be imbued to the item.
Since it’s impossible to increase the number of sockets, it is important to obtain the items with as many sockets as possible.
Are their sockets on accessories as well?
Accessories such as necklaces, rings, and earrings do not have sockets to begin with.
However, you can create up to three sockets by using 'Diamond' that you can obtain by mining.
Insert a gem into the socket you have made, and the options on your accessory will be upgraded.
However, the effects of the sockets on accessories automatically disappear after a certain period of time.
Upgrade System
How do I upgrade items?
All the items can be upgraded by the blacksmith in each town, and the item level can be increased to up to +9.
However, only items with a level requirement of 10 or higher can be upgraded.
What do I need to upgrade items?
First of all, you need an 'Upgrade Stone' that suits the item level and type in order to upgrade items (ex: A 'Weapon Upgrade Stone' is necessary for upgrading weapons). You can obtain upgrade stones by hunting monsters or mining, and you need a 'Crystal' that suits the item type and level in order to upgrade your items to a higher grade. Crystals can usually be obtained in the process of smashing your items (use a Smashing Stone).
