1,000 years ago / The Awakening of 3 Continental Civilization
The streams which started at the great mountains flow to the southeast, reaching to the inland seas of the centra continent, dividing into two ways and fluxing into the sea. Although the first civilization of mankind started at the mountain area, civilization also gained its first start at the two river areas. These areas are called Kampus, Tera, and Elmark respectively. Also, mankind named his living continent as Oslea.
The first mankind was weak, and faced many dangerous species which have pre-existed in the continent, including monsters such as Orks, Trolls, Orgres, and Spirits inherent in water, fire, trees, and stones. Others include the undeads which rule the darkness, and the dragon, which ruled all these undeads. Man was always exposed to sudden danger.
Spirits were the first ones to stretch their hands to man. They protected mankind, and have taught many things to them, especially magic which utilizes the power of nature. However, as mankind’s civilization grew, with expanded influence on the continent, the arrogant man betrayed the Spirits. Man drove out the Spirits from the continent, and the Spirits disappeared to nowhere where man did not exist.
In the meanwhile, it was mankind who fell down victim to other species after ousting the Spirits. Man who spontaneously got rid of the protection from Spirits had to fight against all the fierce species by its own in the continent. The Age of Inferna has arrived, placing unlimited battles and passions between mankind and species, fighting over the life in Oslea continent.
500 years ago /The Construction of Askaron
Mankind who developed the civilization into three areas felt the need for integration to protect them.
So, after the great construction works of 30 years, a gigantic city called Askaron was built in the center of the continent.
The great leader of Askaron was named as the Soul Ruler.
Also, Moben of Kampus was designated, as the first Soul Ruler. At last, man has gained a core which can gather their power into one. Later on, Askaron became the heart of the continent, and the symbol of mankind’s civilization.
400 years ago / Lord of the Undead [Bentre] leads the Conquest
Bentre was a prospective magician from Tera. However, when travelling the Desert of Eternity at the Northeast continent, he suffered from a strange endemic disease, and mutated into an Undead after undergoing treatment with magic and portions. Bentre became a deadly poisonous and devilish Lord of the Undead. By the power of Bentre, the Desert of Eternity transformed into the Desert of Death. Benecion, the 4th Soul Ruler, decided to capture and lock Bentre forever. This triggered the start of the historical Bentre Conquest.
The 1st and 2nd Bentre Conquest failed with huge death tolls. At the 3rd conquest, Benecion lost his life after all. Steel was the one who saved the besieged conquest. After the stringent fight, he brought down Bentre, and
captured him alive to seal in the underground secret room in Askaron. Soon enough, he was designated as the 5th Soul Ruler under unanimous decision by the Askaron Senior Conference. Bentre was sealed for 380 years.
150 years ago, The Great Battle of All Orks
Rogern attacked the Orks right after designated as the 12th Soul Ruler. The fierce Orks endlessly looted mankind, and to this, Rogern has declared war on them. The war which seemed to end quickly were met with repetitive advances and retreats when faced with consistent resistance from the Orks, and lasted for 10 years. Although Orks were hardest hit, mankind could not achieve a full victory.
8 years have passed since then, and the 2nd Great Battle of Orks broke out. This time, the Orks made their preemptive attacks on mankind. It was found that the divided Orks integrated, with their new leader Rurun. Rurun was a natural-born strategist, with fierce and daring attacks. During the war, Rurun held fear-mongering atmosphere in the entire continent. However, he was arrest at the River Alust while retreating after the close the Great Alamos Battle, and was locked inside the Bern underground prison. The Orks who lost their leader collapsed, and the war finally ended. 6 months after the lock-in, Rurun was sent to the undergrounds of Askaron, and stayed there for 125 years before Askaron was demolished.
40 years ago/ The Blocking of Pandemonium
30 explorers who were traveling the northwestern Askaron were brutally killed. Minos, the 15th Soul Ruler who investigated this accident found that it was implemented by the Dragon, and forced blocking measures on this area. During the investigation, the Spirits which were once believed to have disappeared were found in this area, and Minos named it as Pandemonium.
The Spirits who tried to help the weak mankind, and the Spirits who were betrayed by man were in protection by the Dragon species which have closely looked over the situations for a long time.
The Pandemonium accident was just the start of realizing the fact that mankind had to fight with another massive enemy called Dragon and Spirits.
A year ago/ The Destruction of Askaron
When Eraniq was designated as the 16th Soul Ruler, Askaron was invaded by massive attacks from an unknown force. After the attacks, the main facilities of Askaron were destructed, and many dangerous criminals sealed underground quickly escaped and dispersed throughout the continent. Amidst this confusion, even Eraniq disappeared.
Despite large-scale investigation, Eraniq is still unfound. Finally, the senior conference announced the order for designating the 16th Soul Ruler. They decided to find a new leader, since it was too dangerous to leave the important position unseated.
And time has come for you, the 16th Soul Ruler, the leader who will protect mankind from Dragon and the Spirits lurking around Pandemonium, and the hero who will suppress dispersed enemies and rebuild the continent once and for all.
